You can read your Daviess County Public Schools e-mail across the World Wide Web (e.g. from home or while
on vacation). Find this page by
clicking Outlook in the line of quick links at the bottom of the district page.
Visit
https://ketsmail.us and enter

At this time you should get a screen which looks very much like your e-mail
screen at school, but it is actually a web page that will respond much more
slowly. E-mail that you read and send will remain on the server.
If you plan to use this type of access frequently, you should examine how
your Exchange or Outlook client is set up at school.
If you have chosen to take delivery to your Personal Folders (which are on
your C:drive at school), the only mail on the Outlook Server will be what
has arrived there since you last turned your computer off. That may
be exactly what you want and need.
If you have chosen to take delivery to your mail box (which is on the
server) and you do not keep your mailbox cleaned out (Inbox, Deleted Items
and Sent Items), then the amount of information to be sent across the Web
may be excessive and slow.
A middle course is to take delivery to your mail box on the server, but
enable auto archiving and set autoarchive frequency low on the three
folders above (every 7 days, retain for only 14 days before archive).
That way only a couple of weeks of info will be on the server, and the
rest will be on the archive files on your hard drive.
