I.                   Trading Spaces:  what’s your favorite site or techy tool? (5-15 min. warm-up)

II.                Unsolved Mysteries:  ways to use Word 2000 in the Foreign Language classroom  (20 min.)

a.       tables:  ladder game, alpha order

b.      language checker

III.             Teaching with the web, an overview of the information from conference in Rochester, N.Y. entitled “Foreign Languages Teaching with Technology” (see the following pages)

IV.             Mathematical searches: Accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative  (10 min.)

V.                Using www.4teacher.org sources:

a.       Trackstar for web based activities  (30 min.)

b.      Using Rubistar for rubric design   (10 min.)

c.       Using Quizstar                                        (10 min.)

      VI.      Wrap-up:  How can you use one thing you learned today to make your                              classroom better?
