Customizing a
Favorites Toolbar within
Internet Explorer

Have a few sites you always visit?
§
Tired of typing in the address or clicking here,
there, and everywhere to get there?
§
How about one click and you’re there?
1.
Open Internet Explorer.
2.
Click on View…Toolbars, and be sure Links is
checked.


3.
A new links
toolbar should now be visible with preset links loaded from Internet Explorer
(Your toolbar will look different than the example below).

This toolbar
can be customized. For instance, if you
frequently access the United Streaming website, type in the address in the
address bar:

Click the
left mouse button and hold down on the blue e directly to the left of the web
address. Drag into the links toolbar and
let go of the mouse button. A new button
should pop up in the toolbar. Click once
on this button to access United Streaming.



6.
If you’ve
moved it successfully, one of the buttons in your links toolbar should look
like this:

Title of the
button too long? Simply right-click on
the title and left click on Rename. Type
in a new shorter name:
