WebQuest

WebQuests use World Wide Web resources for inquiry-based
instructional activities. Bernie Dodge, a WebQuest pioneer, describes a WebQuest as "an inquiry-oriented activity
in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the
Web. WebQuests are designed to use learners' time well, to focus on using
information rather than looking for it, and to support learners' thinking at
the levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation."

Creating Hyperlinks
A hyperlink is a connection between two web
pages on the Internet. Hyperlinks can be produced from text or graphics and
both methods will be discussed here. Follow these steps to create links to
other web sites and pages within your site:
* Type
the text you want to appear on the page as a link or add the graphic that will
be a link.
* Highlight
the text or graphic and click the Insert
Hyperlink button on the standard toolbar or press CTRL+K.
* From the Insert Hyperlink dialog box, change the
Text to display if necessary.
Save
finished WebQuest as a word document or as a webpage. As a webpage, you can post it to your school
webpage.
